OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS 2024 – 2027

The College Coaches Showcase Camp is designed for high school girl volleyball players that want to be evaluated by and work directly with college coaches on the court. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming prospective student-athletes and want to showcase their skills. The camp will feature high level instruction from active college coaches and feedback provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process. There will also be a discussion on the process of working towards a college volleyball opportunity. The camp is open to all high school girl volleyball players and is restricted in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules.

  • Opportunities to ask questions and get to know the college coaches.
  • Position specific training and small group instruction.
  • An in person discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations.
  • Opportunities for players and family members to talk with coaches.

THE COLLEGE COACHES AT THE EVENTS ARE ON THE COURT ALL DAY.
JUST LIKE THEY ARE FOR THEIR OWN PRACTICES AND GAMES.

THIS IS A CAMP AND A SHOWCASE
Players need the opportunity to showcase their skills to coaches. Coaches need the opportunity to see how players respond to instruction, just like they do with their own college athletes. That one-on-one and small group instruction is designed to be just like a college practice, an environment the college coaches thrive in. Players should be prepared to receive immediate feedback and work with coaches to improve their game. Each segment of camp will consist of skill training and instruction. Players will have the opportunity to work with the college coaches in their specific position, as well as in a competitive environment. Players will be taken through a series of drills to work on various position specific skills, including serving, setting, hitting & blocking, passing & defending. It is very important to know that each session has a limited enrollment. We aim for a player-to-coach ratio that will not exceed 8:1. This ensures that the coaches can spend quality time with all players attending and are not overwhelmed with large camp numbers. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in a small group setting.

COLLEGE COACHES SHOWCASE CAMPS ARE RUN BY CURRENT COLLEGE COACHES

EVALUATION & INSTRUCTION
Each player will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college volleyball represented at the camp. Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college volleyball and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating volleyball player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level. Because we want full interaction between coaches and players, we do not provide written evaluations. We ask our staff to be fully engaged in the teaching process and not be lost in a form. For this reason, we highly encourage players to ask questions of the staff and obtain any and all information they would like to know.

DISCUSSION FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ATHLETES
This portion of the event will be provided to and is open to all registered participants and parents. It will cover various topics relative to the college experience, NCAA recruiting process and rules along with an open Q and A for parents and players to get information straight from coaches when done in person.
